Empowering the Ageing Workforce: Strategies for Bridging the Digital and Soft Skills Gap (Lessons from the needs analysis report)

The presentations were followed by discussions where the hurdles and gaps in skills development among the ageing workforce were further discussed. A key hurdle identified is the lack of motivation among workers to upskill or reskill themselves. In addition, the older generation prefers face-to-face interactions and therefore may be apprehensive to enroll in online courses and self development. This underlines the importance of cautiously developing a learning platform that will be easy to navigate and provide users interesting, interactive and usefull courses.

We thank all the attendees for participating in the session and are looking forward to connecting at our future events and on our social platforms.
