International Conference: Bridging Digital Divides

The EDSAW project is pleased to be part of the international scientific conference “Bridging Digital Divides: Skills, Inclusion and Socio-Economic Transformation,” took place on 20–21 May 2026 in a hybrid format in Bratislava and online.

The conference brought together researchers, policymakers, and practitioners to explore key challenges and opportunities related to digital transformation, digital inclusion, and skills development in today’s rapidly evolving digital landscape.

Within this context, the EDSAW track focused on digital skills, lifelong learning, and workforce transformation, highlighting the importance of upskilling and reskilling—particularly for ageing populations—to ensure inclusive participation in the digital economy.
